The Green New Deal Superstudio is a national conversation about how the framework of the Green New Deal can be translated into actual projects and where, as a matter of priority these projects should take place, what will they look like, who will they serve, and how will they roll out.
On February 7th, 2019, Representative @aoc (NY-14) and Senator
@edmarkey (MA) introduced H.R. 109, a non-binding resolution "Recognizing the duty of the Federal Government to create a Green New Deal." In it, they provide a framework for a "10-year national mobilization" that calls on Congress to pass legislation that builds resiliency against climate change-related disasters, repairs and upgrades the infrastructure of the U.S.
The Landscape Architecture Foundation (@lafoundation) in association with the Weitzman School of Design McHarg Center, the Center for Resilient Cities and Landscapes, the American Society of Landscape Architects (@ncasla_landarch), and the Council of Educators in Landscape Architecture (@thecelaofficial) invited designers to be part of a historic, national initiative to translate the core goals of the Green New Deal—decarbonization, justice, and jobs—into design and planning projects for their respective regions.

Art + Design Lecturer Adrienne McKenzie was a finalist in the Open Fashion category of the 2020 @handandlocklondon exhibition. Adrienne's work will be displayed in the Bargehouse Oxo Tower in London as part of Fiberarts International 2022.
Presented by the Fiberarts Guild and recognized around the world as a benchmark documenting trends and innovations in the field, the goal of the exhibition is to include work rooted in traditional fiber materials, structure, processes and history, as well as art that explores unexpected relationships between fiber and other disciplines.
Taking place from November 3-7, the Embroidered Arts Exhibition showcases the most exciting cutting edge, contemporary and historic embroidered arts from around the world. From military uniforms to protest banners, interior design and couture fashion, embroidery permeates every aspect of our culture.
